Time Travel Question : Murder and Disappearances Redux

I periodically get new Death and disappearance Items. (Also ones I can't remember if we did in the 2023 poll). Since we have enough to make a poll, I'm reviving it here.

A lot of the big famous ones like Jack the Ripper, we covered in 2023. If your fave doesn't go this time, odds are it was one I remembered we already did.

As long as there is a reasonable mystery such as cause of death, reasons for murder, where they went, etc., it counts.

I will not do ones that are 21st century, because it makes me feel creepy and ghoulish. I will not do ones that are credibly definitively solved.

I refuse to do JFK. I have my reasons.

31) The Lighthouse

Illogical logic. Does it make sense to close the curtains in a lighthouse? No. Is it incredibly funny? Yeah, it is. This play is just AJ being confused the entire time. He's just such a himbo we love him. Also, Sam just goes mad by the end. Tom certainly didn't help with that "You're my.. cousin!" line. It started with AJ not knowing shit and it will end with AJ knowing shit but being stupid to piss Sam off

32) Murders in Space

Something about time penetration and interpreting the other's stagecraft wrong because it's funnier and maybe also a tiny bit petty

33) Marigolds, Bluebells and Hugh

If I had a nickel for every time AJ played a child who loved flowers but wasn't allowed to see them, Tom played his mother, the setting was German/British and the child ended up having a parent that was kept secret for reasons.. I'd have two. Which isn't a lot but FUHUUUCK it's so odd it happened twice

Magic and cakes!! Cake and magic!! And misuse of clips!! And a message about gender and how anyone can be [thing] despite their gender not being associated with [thing]

There's probably a really good message about not gambling your life away in here but I'm not too sure. Also, some really funny names are in here

STOP IN THE NAME OF THE LAAAAAW!! because this has cops and the mafia and drugs because WOOOH it's so much more entertaining than without!! Jimmy was the fan favorite the moment he was introduced and I love that. We love Jimmy </3

I don't think Ed and Stede should get married in season 3.

They have a huge list of issues they still haven't addressed and are still relatively early in their relationship. If you skip past all that growth just to rush into the marriage. What are we even watching for?

Besides

They don't need marriage to be together happily.

I hate when that's the pedestal everyone worships.

On Life in the Lighthouse

This ancient logbook is filled with meticulous veilfire runes. Though it is encoded, flicking through it offers vignettes of borrowed memory.

Fearful refugees are ushered into the Lighthouse through eluvians, emerging from the infirmary and libraries as soldiers, spies, and scholars. Gardeners plant long-extinct herbs that grow, are harvested, and wither in the blink of an eye. The sharp smell of distilling medicine wafts from a window, and poison for the enemy drips into a vial. The arguments of a war council go on late into the night; forbidden songs are sun freely, with filthy lyrics substituted for the Evanuris' names.

Finally, a heated conversation silhouetted against glass with quick shadows darting behind it. The argument ends with a wordless but unmistakable impression: "You summoned them: you feed them."
